The Phase I and Phase II Groundwater Reports document shallow groundwater conditions for selected wells in the Flathead Basin. The study monitored wells for the following components: nutrients, PPCPs, VOCs, SVOCs and Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products (PPCPs), and indicated that many of these chemicals are now found in the shallow aquifer throughout the basin. Further studies will be required to document the source of these contaminants.
