* State Department Comments submitted on the draft Terms of Reference

All of these have received state, provincial and both Canadian and US national media. A "Flathead Mine" search of Google News will give you all the stories.

February 1, 2007 The public comment period has come to an end. The total Terms of Reference comments received to date by the Governor's office is approximately 50,500.
Now B.C. must determine whether the draft Terms of Reference (TOR) is sufficient to protect the headwaters of the Flathead River, and the ecological integrity of this World Heritage site and Biosphere Reserve.
